Think of the stories with a happy end
The best stories have suspense, when all seems lost somehow by the skin of their teeth the hero survives, or saves the world , or the girl, but only after all seemed lost. If they just strolled in and everything was a breeze, it’d be … well just boring.
I’d love my life to be more than just another life lived- I’d love to haveSteve read a book all about having a story. I think it’s Don Miller - you should read it…even though i’ve not read it, i feel like i can recommend it. Only i can’t remember what it’s called…
A Million Miles In A Thousand Years by Donald Miller.
It is easy to say that every new book you read is your favourite book but this is up there among mine. When I read your post I automatically though you were already reading this book! And if you weren’t, you should!
You can download and read the first 3 chapters from Don Millers new book ‘A Million Miles In A Thousand Years’ for free!
It isn’t the finished thing, but he is encouraging his readers to read them and comment on what people think. I have downloaded, but not read yet.
