Mumford & Sons — Sigh No More
I have hardly stopped listening to this album since it came out on Monday. I haven’t been like this with an album for a long time. The songs are so well crafted and they will awaken your soul to things long forgotten with fresh and honest lyrics.
Bombay Bicycle Club — I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose
I don’t know where I first heard this band, but I keep coming back to this album. If you like The Maccabees, Good Shoes and Pull Tiger Tail you will love it. If not, check it out if you’d like something a bit new and fresh.
Flight of the Conchords — Self Titled
New Zealand’s self-proclaimed “4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo” with all the favourites including Hiphopopotamus, Boom and Business Time.
The Maccabees — Wall of Arms
The Maccabees new album has lived up to my expectation. Check it out. I am gutted that tickets have sold out for their show on Sunday. Mumford & Sons are supporting as well. In the Academy 2 too so would of been nice and intermate.
However, this album is awesome. Check it out y’all.
The Go! Team — Proof of Youth
Ok, new feature: Album of the Moment. I say ‘at the moment’ because that is a nice generic time period and therefore no pressure to actually continue with it!
Today it is The Go! Teams album Proof Of Youth. It may be a little under 2 years old but I like it. You too can now listen to it and hopefully you will enjoy it. Kudos to Chris for reintroducing me.
