Update: If the app isn’t appearing in your menubar when you launch hit desktumblr > Convert to Menubar SSB in your menu. Restart app. Done.
I really like this little app. The only thing that I felt let it down was the fact it didn’t auto refresh. However, thanks to Fluids use of Userscripts, I have created a small userscript to refresh the page after a given time. It is called Automatic Page Refresh.
To install the suerscript follow these instructions:
- Download the script from Userscript.org or from my Dropbox
- Make sure that tinytumblr is not in MenuExtra SSB. To do so, right mouse click and select “Convert to Normal Application…”
- Click on the little script icon on the menu bar (3rd from the right)
- Select “Open Userscript Folder”
- Copy the downloaded file into the Userscript folder
- Open the file and change the variable “numberOfMin” to the number of minutes you want to wait between refreshes
- Click on the script icon and select ‘Automatic Page Refresh’
- You may need to refresh tinytumblr to get the script to start running
- To return tinytumblr to a MenuExtra click desktumblr > Convert to MenuExtra SSB
