I would like to take some time out to explain to you my Final Year Project.
Introducing; Odima. Odima is an Online Digital Identity Management Application. As you can see I was up all night thinking of a name.
Odima is a web application that enables you to store and distribute your status updates, shared links and photos across various social networks. These networks include Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Tumblr and Delicious.
The application will enable you to store your data from across these networks in one localised place. You will then able to browse through this data.
Once imported, this data can then be posted onto other social networks. For example, if I post a link on Delicious, within 15 minutes that link could also be on Tumblr and Facebook with me only having to fill in a single form on Delicious.
I will be testing out my application as it is entering the finished stages. I will hope to add some screenshots of it working. I would do a screen cast but I don’t have any software to do so. Looks like your stuck with photos.
Please bare with me as there will be some odd activity across my accounts. This is not strictly professional, as I should set up a number of test accounts. However, I have a 10000 word report to right by the 27th April so time is of the essence.
Normal service will continue after and as best as I can during these next few weeks. Thank you for reading this and sticking with me.

Some pictures surfing.

I had a whole caption sorted but it didn’t save it.

Twice.

This is how we roll.

I am a disillusioned perfectionist. My ideas of perfection are not actually obtainable. This can mess with your head a bit. I have been told by many people to lower my expectations but I always feel as though I am cheating myself out of the best.
I don’t think there is a problem with wanting things to be perfect. I think it is a good motivator to push harder and add that extra little bit of polish. The problem arises when you inevitable don’t get to this level of perfection. For me, I usually beat myself up for not getting there. This is not healthy.
I am not saying that perfection by definition is unattainable. Perfection is a strength and one that should be used, or not used, wisely. When not used, you need to accept that the work produced is not the highest standard it can be. And be ok with that.
This is what I am learning.

The Rocket Summer - Of Men and Angels. My favourite album of 2010 is out already. You can listen to it on Spotify or check The Rocket Summer out on MySpace. I would write more about it but I don’t possess the words to do it justice.

This album is absolutely amazing. I am loving it so much. Check it out.

This very beta new feature allows people you follow to reply to your posts. So far, this feature only works from the Dashboard and only on your primary blog. Some big updates are on the way. :)
You can enable it by checking off Customize → Advanced → Enable replies.

This potential solves one of my biggest issues with Tumblr…
